Terms for using the creative workshop
SHMOTE5.COM provides creative naming tools and supporting fictional material. These terms explain the service’s intended use and limitations. They do not grant a rights clearance for a particular name.
Creative candidates
Outputs are proposals for your own project. Interpretations are fictional readings, not verified translations, historical derivations or statements that a name is exclusive. You remain responsible for choosing an appropriate form and checking existing uses before publication.
Use in your project
SHMOTE5.COM does not charge a naming-output licence fee or require attribution merely for using a generated name and its associated creative interpretation. Third-party rights remain unaffected. Technical access to the entire catalogue, articles and source assets is not a blanket permission to republish the whole site unchanged.
What the tools can and cannot do
The software follows local rules and records reproducible seeds. It does not understand every relationship in your fictional world or check every language and cultural context. Character counts and rule traces are technical aids, not a guarantee of artistic quality. Tight constraints may return a smaller result set or none.
Local data
Favourites, settings and writing notes may be stored in your browser. There is no central project account or guaranteed recovery service. Keep important decided work in an export or your own project archive. The JSON format can include notes; review a file before disclosing it to another person.
Responsible use and corrections
Do not use the workshop to submit access credentials, unnecessary personal data or material you are not entitled to disclose. A report about an inappropriate output is welcome through the contact page. A generated result does not express endorsement of every implication a reader might give it.
Availability and changes
Vocabulary, rules, interfaces and supporting content may change. A changed program can produce different results from an older seed. An export preserves the actual candidates selected at that time. No uninterrupted service, particular search ranking, domain availability or advertising approval is promised.
