Privacy and local browser data
This notice describes the provided German and English naming application. Names and writing notes are processed locally by its generator. Loading the website itself still requires communication with the infrastructure that serves its files.

Page delivery
The browser requests HTML, styles, scripts, images, rule data and search indexes. The serving infrastructure receives technical information needed for those requests, including the requesting IP address and requested resource. Actual server logging and retention depend on the chosen host. No unconfirmed retention period or server location is invented here.
Generator input
Atmosphere, naming form, motif, project label, limits and seed are evaluated by JavaScript on your device. They are not submitted through a generator endpoint to a language-model provider. Search terms filter a static local index and are not submitted as search queries to our server. The index file itself is requested as an ordinary resource.
Favourites
Saving a result stores it under the browser’s local orange-names key. It can include the name, explanatory paragraphs, tool, settings, seed and program information. There is no automatic cross-device account synchronisation. Remove individual results or clear the list through the saved-names page, or clear this site’s data through your browser.
Settings, notes and language choice
The original workspaces use shmote5-settings:tool. New workspaces use shmote5-studio:tool:language. Generation stores the requested settings and seed so they can be restored; Reset settings removes that workspace’s saved settings. Writing notes use shmote5-world-notes and are saved as you type. Empty the notes field or clear site data to remove them.
The language controls store the explicit choice under shmote5-language. A session marker, shmote5-home-language, prevents repeated automatic homepage negotiation. The initial choice uses the browser’s language list, not IP-based location. Explicit language URLs and deep links keep their requested language. A manual choice overrides the initial preference.
Storage limits
The application sets no automatic expiry for saved names and notes. They may remain until removed or discarded by the browser. Private mode, blocked storage or device limits can prevent persistence. The website has no central copy that can be recovered using your email address. Browser or operating-system backup behaviour is outside this application’s control.
Clipboard and downloads
Copy actions write the selected text to the device clipboard through the browser interface. Exports create a local TXT, CSV or JSON file and initiate a download. JSON exports can contain writing notes and settings; inspect them before sharing. Removing a favourite does not delete an already downloaded file or clear the clipboard.
A report link opens a draft addressed to the contact email with relevant context. It does not send automatically. If you send a message, its contents, attachments and email metadata are processed by the mail services used. The published address uses Gmail. Do not send passwords, access tokens or unnecessary personal information in a routine correction.
Advertising and third-party embeds
This website includes the external Google AdSense code for publisher ca-pub-5808306867163848. Loading it connects the browser to Google; the IP address, browser information and the visited page may be processed. Depending on account settings and applicable consent, cookies or similar technologies may be used. Installing the code does not establish advertising approval or a configured consent platform. See Google advertising technologies.
Requests and changes
Contact us with enough context to identify the relevant correspondence or issue. Local-only names cannot be located by us using an email address. The notice must be revisited when actual hosting, advertising or data-handling functions change. Browser extensions, shared devices and files you choose to disclose can expose local material independently of the generator.
